Sant Nirankari Mandal Chandigarh Parmukh Rev. Mohinder Singh Ji told that Nirankari devotees from Punjab, Haryana and Chandigarh are reaching North Delhi in thousands some ot them with JCBs and Tractor-Trolies etc. for preparation of the 65th Annual Nirankari Sant Samagam which has begun with formal inauguration of voluntary service (Sewa) on its venue spreading over 400 acres of land along Burari Road in North Delhi.  The Three Day Samagam is scheduled to begin on November 3 to 5, 2012.  Lakhs of devotees of the Sant Nirankari Mission from India and abroad are expected to attend. One of the most important features of the Samagam is that all the arrangements of such a magnitude are based on voluntary service by devotees, both in Sewa Dal uniform and others. He further said the preparations for the 65th Annual Nirankari Sant Samagam were formally launched with a cut in the ground by the Head of the Sant Nirankari Mission, Nirankari Baba Hardev Singh Ji Maharaj.  His holy mother Rev. Nirankari Rajmata Kulwant Kaur Ji and his gracious spouse Pujya Mata Sawinder Ji also participated in the ceremony.Addressing the Sewa Dal volunteers immediately after the ceremony, His Holiness said that every year the Samagam offers an opportunity for service and devotees consider it a sign of good fortune.  In fact, no service is prestigious or non-prestigious; it is our own attitude that makes it so.  Here everyone welcomes whatever duty is assigned to him or her.  Devotees serve selflessly like the sun, moon and the earth.  They devote their body, mind and wealth towards the service of others without expecting any reward. Baba Ji said that the magnitude of the Samagam requires a thorough planning and coordination.  He mentioned the meticulous work done by Sewa Dal volunteers and other devotees during the Nirankari International Samagam held in UK last month.  However, here we have to work on a much larger scale.  Every aspect of the Samagam is important and requires beauty of its own.  Baba Ji hoped that like in the past, the devotees will work with a sense of discipline and devotion this time also and present a beautiful example for others. Earlier, Shri Harbans Lal Arora, Member Incharge, Sewa Dal thanked His Holiness for giving the devotees an opportunity for voluntary service.  He hoped that with his benign blessings, like any other Samagam in the past, the coming Samagam is also successful and brings happiness for everyone who attends. Speaking on the occasion, Shri V.D.Nagpal, General Secretary of the Sant Niranakari Mandal and Coordinator for the Samagam, thanked Baba Ji on behalf of all the devotees of the Mission for giving this grand opportunity to get together and serve each other.  He sought his pine blessings so that every devotee participating in the preparations for the Samagam is able to perform his or her duties well and earn the blessings of Satguru as also the participants.
