Asiea Naqash inaugurates Shanpora Premier League

Minister of State for Health and Medical Education Ms. Asiea Naqash today inaugurated Shanpora Premier league organized by Shanpora Cricket Fraternity at  Iqbal Stadium Shanpora.Highlighting the importance of sports in life, the Minister said that these keep the physique and mind of a person healthy and sound.  She said that the youth of the state have potential in every sport, saying that they also have proved their mettle and have brought laurels to the State.  She also called upon them to focus on their study as well.Ms. Asiea said that the Chief Minister Ms. Mehbooba Mufti led present government is keen for the development  and up-gradation of existing sports infrastructure in the State, adding that various steps have also been initiated in this regards. She asked more and more youth to take part in the sports activities and make the sports as their profession.Earlier, the Minister was introduced with the players.
