DC Udhampur reviews Ramzan arrangements

Deputy Commissioner Udhampur, Niraj Kumar convened a meeting to review the arrangements for the ensuing holy month of Ramzan.Additional Deputy Commissioner Udhampur Angrez Singh Rana, Assistant Commissioner Revenue, Subhash Dogra,Sub- Divisional Magistrates of all sub-divisions, Xens, district officers besides members of Auqaf Committee   attended the meeting The Deputy Commissioner gave a patient hearing to the demands putforth by the members of Auqaf committee and directed the concerned officers to take necessary steps for the same. The PHE authorities were asked to ensure regular supply of water and engage additional water supply tanks, if the need arises. The DC also asked PDD to provide uninterrupted power during, Sheri and Iftar time  . The Municipal authorities were asked to maintain cleanliness and conduct special sanitation drive. He directed the Police department to make necessary security arrangements around mosques to avoid any untoward incident. To keep a check on the rate and adulteration of essential commodities, Revenue and food safety officers were directed to conduct regular market checking.  He further directed the officers from CAPD department to ensure adequate stock and supply of ration at all depots.
