Ajay Nanda reviews arrangements for Mela Kheer Bhawani

Minister of State for Finance Planning and CAPD, Ajay Kumar Nanda, today chaired an officers meeting to review arrangements being put in place for smooth conduct of annual Kheer Bhawani Mela being celebrated in Tulmulla of Ganderbal district on June 12.Besides, the District Development Commissioner Ganderbal, senior officers of the district administration attended the meeting.The Minister directed the district administration to make elaborate arrangements for the convenience of the devotees, especially Kashmiri Pandits, who will throng the holy shrine on the festive occasion.The Minister directed the authorities of PDD to ensure uninterrupted power supply during the Mela. He also directed Chief Engineer PHE to ensure drinking water facilities to the devotees and to ensure supply of water through tanker service also.The Minister instructed the DDC Ganderbal to ensure cleanliness in and around the Mata Bhawani Asthapan site and ensure proper sanitation and adequate Transportation and Medical facilities during the festival days for devotees.
