Admin team inspects dev works in Khari, Ramsoo blocks

A team of district administration Ramban led by Additional District Development Commissioner (ADDC) Ravinder Nath Sadhu today inspected pace of progress on the development works of Rural Development Department and PWD taken up in different Panchayats of   Ramsoo and Khari blocks.Block Development Officer Khari Jahangir Ahmed Giri, engineers of works department and REW besides field functionaries of the concerned Panchayats accompanied the ADDC.During the inspection, the ADDC interacted with the general Public at Bawa Trigam, Kawana and Mahu Lower and listened to their grievances.The major works inspected by the visiting team of officers included 3 Foot Bridges at Sehmatpora Khari Upper–B, Choulnari Mahu Upper and Khowra Trigam Upper being constructed at a cost of   Rs 10.95 Lakh, Rs. 13.94 and Rs 14.67 respectively.

On completion, the upcoming bridges will provide connectivity to a population of around 5000 souls.The visiting team also inspected Pacca Path at Gharat  Nallah Kawana,  Water Catchment Drain Yarwan to Pathri , Pacca Path Masjid Mohallah Higwah of Panchayat Trigam Upper, Food Store Kawana , Play Field at Nachlana and  Approach Path  to the Foot Bridge Nallah Zagar at Mahu Lower.The officers’ team also paid a visit to Higher Secondary School Mahu and took stock of the functioning of the school.At Mahu, locals demanded replacement of damaged transformer and the power Development department was asked to take steps in this regard.
