Haji Anayat Ali thanks CM for taking interest in brining Kargil under AMRUT

Chairman J&K Legislative Council Haji Anayat Ali has thanked Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti for her intervention and efforts to bring Kargil town under Atal Mission for Rejuvenation and Urban Transformation (AMRUT).He has also thanked Prime Minister Narendra Modi,  Union Minister for Urban Development Venkaiah Naidu for including Kargil under the AMRUT programme.He said that he himself and people of Kargil are indebted to GOI and Ms. Mehbooba Mufti for taking keen interest in upliftment and development of Kargil district.Haji Anayat Ali said that this was because of the CM, who took up this issue with the central government, that Kargil got this prestigious project of AMRUT.He said by getting included under AMRUT project, Kargil will get transformed into a well developed town in the future. He said the present dispensation is keen in fulfilling the dreams of Late Chief Minister Mufti Muhammad Sayeed, as development of Kargil was very close to his heart.The Legislative Council Chairman said that he has asked the Deputy Commissioner Kargil for taking immediate action and start working on the formulation of plans and projects for developing Kargil town under this project.
