The conglomerate said this should be a matter of concern for the international human rights organisations and international community and nations who believe in justice and fair play. The APHC said on one hand, the state government was running in coalition with the BJP and crushing the political, economic and religious rights of the people of Kashmir by implementing anti-Kashmiri policies and on the other hand suppressing peaceful protests of the resistance leadership and freedom-loving Kashmiris against these anti-Kashmir designs and conspiracies by adopting inhuman and undemocratic measures. The amalgam said by using force and aggressive tactics, neither can the political and historic facts be ignored nor peace and prosperity in South Asia be a reality without resolving Kashmir issue.Meanwhile, a peaceful protest march led by Hurriyat leaders Ghulam Nabi Zaki and Mushtaq Ahmaed Sofi was taken out from Jamia Masjid, Srinagar. This rally was part of the united resistance leadership’s programme of staging peaceful protests following the Friday Congregational prayers.
