Tosa Maidan to be developed as Eco-Tourism destination: Priya Sethi

Minister of State for Tourism Priya Sethi today said the Government is taking steps to develop Tosa Maidan as an ecotourism destination.Replying to a question of Saif-ud-Din Bhat, the Minister said road from Sitaharan to Tosa Maidan is to be developed for access to the Tosa Maidan meadows. She said the matter has already been taken up with the Forest Department for its clearance and is being pursued vigorously.The Minister informed the House that a separate Tourism Development Authority shall be created for developing Tosa Maidan as a prime tourist destination.Surinder Choudhary, Qaisar Jamsheed Lone and Jugal kishore raised supplementaries to the main question.
