12 Nari Niketens working in the state: Sajad Gani Lone

Minister for Social Welfare and Science & Technology, Mr. Sajjad Gani Lone today informed the House that the government has already kept a provision of shelter homes for the victims of domestic violation in pursuance of the J&K Protection of Women from Domestic Violence Act, 2010 and rules thereof.Replying to a question by Mtr. Anjum Fazli, the Minister said that there are 12 Nari Niketens existing in the state providing free boarding, lodging, education, health care facilities etc to female orphans and all other destitute women across the state.
