Creating awareness necessary for improving livelihood of people: DDC Baramulla

With an aim to strengthen financial condition and to make various employability avenues accessible to the common mass, the District Development Commissioner Baramulla Yasha Mudgal today said that creating awareness among people is necessary to improve their standard of livelihood.This was said by the DDC at the inaugural ceremony of Grameen Bank branch at Pathla Kanispora Baramulla. The function was also attended by Chairman Grameen Bank, General Manager Kashmir division, Area Manager and Branch Manager besides by a large gathering of people.While terming such institutions as a gateway for publicizing various  financial schemes of the government, the DDC said that it will be more helpful in improving the economic conditions of the people. The DDC also applauded the role of the bank to inspire unemployed youth in building their own income generating units.
