Mohammad Yousuf Tarigami urges for crop insurance schemes

MLA Kulgam, Mr. M. Y. Tarigami demanded for introducing of crop insurance scheme besides separate earmarking of funds for farmers to mitigate the losses caused due to hail storm and other natural calamities.He said every year due to hail storm many farmers are badly affected and bear huge financial crises. “Whether it is the crop grown in fields or their orchards, the farmers are at the fore front to receive these losses due to various weather conditions,” he added.
