222 IAY cases sanctioned in Gool Arnas during last two fiscals: Abdul Haq Khan

Minister for Rural Development Mr Abdul Haq informed the House that during 2014-15, 116 Indira Awas Yojana (IAY) cases were sanctioned and an amount of Rs 50.02 lakh was paid, whereas during the last financial year 106 IAY cases were sanctioned and Rs 19.75 lakh were paid in Ghool-Arnas constituency.Replying to a question by Mr Ajaz Ahmad Khan, the Minister said that Union Ministry of Rural Development has released an amount of Rs 19.57 crore as second installment of IAY for 2014-15 which shall be released to the implementing agency shortly to pay the remaining eligible IAY beneficiaries.The Minster said that the Union Ministry of Rural Development has not released second installment of IAY of the last financial year as yet and the government is actively pursuing for the release of the same. He said after receiving the funds from the Centre the balance payment, if any to the eligible beneficiaries of last financial year would be made.
