Hurriyat (G)’s JKSPF holds program at Kathua

Jammu Kashmir social Peace Forum unit of Hurriyat Conference (G) on Sunday held program at Kathua District in which students and local attended program. 

According to a statement issued to KNS, while addressing the gathering Chairman Devinder Singh said that when UN Security Council passed the resolution on April 21, 1948 .It was supported by the United States, United Kingdom and France that resolution says that the future of Kashmir must be ascertained in accordance with the wishes and the will of the people of the land. We hope that the world powers will bring its influence to bear on both India and Pakistan to initiate a peace process with which the UN as well as the people of Jammu Kashmir will be associated so as to ensure that settlement arrived at will be based on the principles of justice. 

Singh said for last so many years, what is happening on the streets of Kashmiri, the security forces in Kashmir is using the brute force to crush the genuine and legitimate aspirations of the people of Kashmir and Self–determination. Advocate Rakish Kumar emphasized that even that state department, country reports on Human Right that was issued on April 8, 2011 says that estimates of the number of missing persons varied. Human Right Organizations stated there were 8000 to 10000 people missing in custody in Kashmir. Asrif Ch said from last so many years Dalits were attacked and harasses by not giving them equal rights and status. BJP and RSS tried to clash the dalits. Recently, dalits were attacked in Haryana and UP and it’s a human right violation in which dalits are attacked. Those who addressed there are Mohan Lal, Mohd Hussain, Talik Raj and Harpreet Singh.
