Inclusion of Lassipora village in backward list under examination: Sajad Gani Lone

The Minister for Social Welfare Sajad Gani Lone today said the state commission for backward classes has examined the socio-economic backwardness of the villages of Khansahib constituency, which include Dreygam, Kremshore, Shamsabad, Parnew, Falchill Dachan, Kandoora Parthan. He said it was found that the villages were not found to meet the laid down parameters for inclusion/ declaration in the list of background categories.The Minister was responding to a question raised by Saif-ud-din Bhat in the upper house of the Legislature today. The Minister further said the case for inclusion of village Lasipora (Khansahib constituency) in the list of backward area is under examination.Mr. Vibod Gupta and Yasir Reshi raised supplementaries.
