Group Commander NCC Srinagar meets Governor

Brigadier S.G Mehta, Group Commander, NCC Srinagar, called on Governor N. N. Vohra, at Raj Bhavan, here today and briefed the Governor about the functioning of the NCC in Srinagar.The Governor stressed the need for expanding NCC activities in the State to enroll a much larger number of boys and girls, particularly from the remote and far-flung areas of Kashmir, Jammu and Ladakh regions, to provide them the confidence and discipline which would equip them for varied career opportunities in their future lives.
