Divisional Commissioner Kashmir, Dr. Asgar Hassan Samoon, today convened a meeting  to review the necessary arrangement in various districts of Kashmir province for smooth conduct of Higher Secondary Examination II (12th class ) and secondary school (10thClass) Bi-annual session 2016 being held from May 28, 2016 and June 6, 2016 respectively.The meeting was attended by Deputy Commissioner Srinagar, and all DCs of Kashmir division through video conferencing, besides Director School Education, Chairman J&K Board and other concerned officers also attended the meet.The meeting was informed that as many as 557 centres for Secondary School (10th class) examination have been set up for 76243 candidates and 256 centres for Higher Secondary School (12thclass) examination for 46046 candidates.

On the occasion, Dr. Samoon stressed for appointment of examination observers for each examination centre, deployment of regular and adequate police contingent around examination centres and imposition of section 144 of CrPC around examination centres during examination days fixed by the JKBOSE.He also directed for relaying urgent messages for transmission through communication wing of Police Control Room on telephone no 100 besides inspection of examination centres by district administration.
