LC Proceedings : Anayat chairs BAC meeting

Chairman Legislative Council, Haji Anayat Ali chaired meeting of Business Advisory Committee (BAC) of Jammu and Kashmir Legislative Council here today.The meeting was attended by the Minister for Parliamentary Affairs Mr. A.R.Veeri, Minister for Education Mr. Neem Akhtar, Deputy Chairman Mr. Jahangir Hussain Mir, legislators Mr. Sajad Ahmad Kitchloo, Mr. Ajatshatru Singh, Mr. Jugal Kishore Sharma, Ramesh Arora,  Mr. Zafar Iqbal Manhas and Secretary Legislative Council Mr. Abdul Majid Bhat.The Chairman also nominated the members of the Business Advisory Committee (BAC) which include Mr. Sajad Ahmad Kitchloo, Mr. Ajatshatru Singh, Mr. Jugal Kishore Sharma and Mr. Zafar Iqbal Manhas.Threadbare discussions were held on provisional calendar and the Committee decided that there would be Discussion on Motion of Thanks on Governor’s Address on 28th May (Saturday) and Obituary on May 26 (Thursday). It also decided that Private Members Bills will be taken up on June 23 Thursday instead of scheduled Government Business.
