The Shiromani Akali Dal today ridiculed the veiled thteat issued by Punjab Pardesh Congress Chief Capt Amarinder Singh on imposition of President Rule in Punjab and said that former Chief Minister should reconcile to the reality of his humiliating defeat at the hands of SAD-BJP combine and stop daydreaming on indirect return of Congress to power in the state for next 25 years.Reacting to the statement of Punjab Congress Chief, the SAD Secretary and Spokesman Dr. Daljit Singh Cheema said that everybody in the state knows well that Capt. Amarinder Singh has miserably failed to lead the Congress Party which has forced the Congress men to leave the party. He said that Congress ship is sinking not only because of non- performance of Congress Chief but also because Congress men have realized that it is only the SAD-BJP combine which is leading the state to the road of prosperity and all round development.Dr. Cheema further said that the false and baseless allegations levelled by Capt. Amarinder Singh on arm-twisting of Congress men are in reality an attempt to save his Presidency.  He said that as Congress men are fed up from the arrogant behaviour of Punjab Congress Chief who has proved total failure. He said that as there is nothing against the SAD-BJP Govt. Capt Amarinder Singh has started a malicious campaign only to save his skin.The SAD leader reminded the Punjab Congress Chief that gone are the days when Congress used to impose Central rule as a tool to dismiss the state Governments and said that the crutches on which centre Government was tottering is set to collapse soon due to internal bickering within the UPA.
