JKLF delegation meets BAR, KEA, KTMF

Need for a collective, unified response to new challenges: Yasin Malik

Jammu Kashmir liberation front (JKLF) has started its consultative efforts to promote a unified approach for tackling new challenges that are being posed by Indian rulers and their Kashmiri stooges in the name of so-called Israeli type separate colonies for pundits and army people, east India company type industrial policy, colonies for homeless outsiders and so on. Today a delegation of JKLF led by Chairman Muhammad Yasin Malik met with Kashmir high court Bar association and economic alliance and Kashmir traders and manufacturers federation. Chairman JKLF Muhammad Yasin Malik along with JKLF delegation comprising of vice chairmen Advocate Bashir Ahmad Butt,Showkat Ahmad Bakhshi, Zonal president Noor Muhammad Kalwal, and senior vice president Zone Muhammad Yasin Butt visited Bar association and met executive body of BAR led by its president advocate Mian Abdul Qayoom. This delegation also went to economic alliance and Kashmir traders and manufacturers federation office and met with the chairman Muhammad Yasin Khan and other members of KEA and KTMF. 

During the meetings JKLF Chairman Muhammad Yasin Malik informed the august bodies about the recent developments and conspiratorial programs like construction of separate colonies in the name of pundits, establishing separate colonies for ex-army people, construction of homes for non-Kashmiri homeless people, selling or leasing out Kashmiri land to Indian businessmen for establishing so-called industrial units. Yasin Malik said that Indian rulers and their Kashmiri stooges are hell bent upon changing the demography of Jammu Kashmir, changing its Muslim majority character and also destroy our already fragile ecology. He said that these conspiratorial programs are meant only to strengthen the illegal Indian occupation on Jammu Kashmir and also deviate people from their original struggle for freedom to other issues. 

Yasin Malik emphasized over the need of a collective and unified response to these new challenges posed by India and its Kashmiri stooges. He said that stopping these conspiratorial plots is like a question of life and death for the people of Jammu Kashmir and for the same purpose JKLF has started this consultative campaign and we hope that al pro-freedom parties, traders bodies, chambers, unions, civil society, students and other people will come on one page to tackle these new challenges and we all will come out with a collective and unified program to stop these anti-Kashmiri plots.Meanwhile JKLF chairman Muhammad Yasin Malik has expressed his heartfelt grief and sorrow over the sad demise of a veteran pro-freedom leader and one of the most humble and noble son of soil Altaf Matoo.Yasin Malik has also expressed grief and sorrow over the sad demise of sister of APHC leader Professor Abdul Gani Butt. Yasin Malik along with Noor Muhammad Kalwal visited both the bereaved families and expressed condolences with them. Praying for the heavenly abode for both the departed souls, Yasin Malik also prayed for the Sabr-e-Jamil to their bereaved families. (KNS)
