Pledging not to allow any Sainik or Pandit colonies, in the disputed region, Jammu Kashmir National Front chairman and Hurriyat leader, Nayeem Ahmad Khan today said that every step to uphold the Muslim character of Jammu Kashmir will be taken at appropriate time. Nayeem Ahmad Khan was addressing district office bearers and workers at Kupwara. Earlier, he was received in Kupwara, by senior party workers. He was accompanied by party general secretary advocate Hilal Ahmad, professor Masoodi and others. District representatives, Tariq Ahmad and Mohammad Rafiq were also present on the occasion.The district level party meeting was convened to discuss the latest political situation.After listening to the senior party functionaries, Nayeem Ahmad Khan assured them that Muslim character of Kashmir is dearer to every citizen and it will be protected at any cost. “New Delhi by using its local collaborators is doing everything to damage the Muslim character of Kashmir however, we assure that it will be protected come what may,” Nayeem Ahmad Khan said.

Terming the latest Supreme Court decision over NEET as anti-Kashmir and political, Nayeem Ahmad Khan said that every Indian institutions including its Supreme Court have time and again practically exhibited their bias towards Kashmiri people. He said weakening the Muslim character of Jammu Kashmir has been an agenda of every Indian dispensation so that they could dilute the long standing Kashmir dispute. “But the freedom loving people of Kashmir have failed every Indian design by their resistance and steadfastness,” Nayeem Ahmad Khan said. Expressing concern over the latest Supreme Court decision about NEET, he said that such decisions give India a legal shield to implement its imperialistic agenda in Kashmir. Terming the proposal of establishing sainik colonies and separate zones for Pandits as part of a wicked plan of India, Nayeem Ahmad Khan cautioned Kashmiri people about the conspiracies against their special identity and the ongoing freedom struggle. He said that New Delhi and its local collaborators are busy implementing a policy so that the disputed nature of Jammu Kashmir is diluted. 

Nayeem Ahmad Khan said that conspiracies against Kashmiris are being hatched at the highest level, “and the pro-India parties are providing every possible help to their masters in New Delhi,” Nayeem Ahmad Khan said.Nayeem Ahmad Khan said that Muslim majority state of Jammu Kashmir is a disputed region however India is trying everything to deceive its people and international community by a number of means. “We cannot tolerate Indian laws in Jammu Kashmir nor we can tolerate any attempt to disturb its demography,” Nayeem Ahmad Khan said adding “we have sacrificed one lakh people to safeguard our particular identity and no one will be allowed even to touch it.” (KNS)
