Ghulam Nabi Lone Hanjura inaugurates Digital Multilingual LED display board at Chrar-e-Sharief

Minister for Agriculture Ghulam Nabi Lone Hanjura today inaugurated the Digital Multi Lingual LED display board at the premises of shrine of Sufi Saint Sheikh Noor Din Wali (RA) at Chrar-e-Sharief .The display board installed at an estimated cost of Rs. 8 lakh by the Jammu and Kashmir Academy of Art, Culture and Languages (JKAACL) was dedicated to devotees by the Minister. The poetry collection of the sufi saint in both English and Urdu languages will be displayed on LED board round-the-clock.Vice Chairman, Jammu and Kashmir Waqaf Board Peer Mohammad Hussain, Gereral Secretary, PDP Mr. Nizamu-Din Bhat, District Development Commissioner Budgam Mir Altaf Ahmad, Secretary, JKAACL Dr. Abdul Aziz Hajini and other distinguished personalities and prominent scholars including Prof. Rehman Rahi, Farooq Ahmad Nazki, Ghulam Nabi Khayal, Ghulam Nabi Gowhar, besides large number of devotees and locals were also present on the occasion.

Speaking on the occasion, the Minister said that the coalition Government is committed to provide transparent and accountable set up and there will be no compromise on any administrative default. He said the government is committed to provide equal opportunities of development and , progress and prosperity to the people of the State. He said the initiatives taken by the Government will emerge in coming period and people will feel change on gross route levels. He said that the government would carry forward the mission of development initiated by former Chief Minister Late Mufti Mohammad Sayeed.Inspecting the pace of work on Nursing College, Chrar-e-Sharief, Mr. Hanjura said that the College would be made functional soon. He said it was the dream of Late Mufti Sahib which will be fulfilled. He announced Rs 30 lakh, out of Constituency Development Fund (CDF), for the construction, repairs and renovation of lanes and drains in Chrar-e-Sharief Constituency.Prior to inauguration, Mahfil-e-Musharia was also conducted where prominent poets presented their poetry lyrics in honour of the Sufi Saint Sheikh Noor-ud-Din Wali (RA).Later, the Minister visited Hapathnar and inspected ongoing construction work on Hapthnar road.Mr. Hanjura directed the executing agencies to speed up the pace of work on all developmental works being carried out in Chrar-e-Sharief Constituency and complete them in a stipulated time frame with judicious use of funds and standard material.
