DLRC meeting held at Shopian

Deputy Commissioner Shopian today chaired the 4th District Level Review Committee meeting at circuit house.MLA Shopain, was also present  in the meeting.

 It was informed that the total credit outstanding of all the banks as on 31-03-2016 has been to the extent of Rs. 924.60 crore against deposits of the district which stood at Rs. 714.91 crore as such taking CD Ratio to 129.33% .It was informed that against the financial target of Rs 508.26 Crore and fiscal targets of 17570 beneficiaries under priority sector the banks have disbursed Rs. 411.03 Crore to 14809 beneficiaries upto to end of Financial year 2015-16 and in agriculture sector the banks have disbursed Rs. 320.19 Crore to 11844 beneficiaries against the annual targets of Rs. 357.66 Crore to 11922 beneficiaries. Banks have disbursed Rs. 59.43 Crore to 2275 beneficiaries in small enterprises against and annual target of Rs. 101.76 Crore to 2544 beneficiaries. Other priority sector received credit disbursements of Rs. 27.32 Crore to 496 beneficiaries against an annual target of Rs. 26.59 Crore to 2659 beneficiaries. The credit sanctioned to education sector during the period is Rs. 1.32 Crore to 87 beneficiaries against the target of Rs. 11.35 Crore to 227 beneficiaries. 

Credit disbursed to housing sector during the period under review has been Rs. 2.77 Crore against the annual target of Rs. 10.90 Crore. with regard to the annual credit plan J&K Banks achievement by the end of financial year 2015-16.Since the inception of KCC scheme various banks operating in the district have disbursed 41917 loan cases under the scheme amounting to the extent of Rs. 831.42 Crore till 31-03-2016 and thus covering 100% out of 29503 eligible farmers of the district. 

It is in place to mention here that the contribution of J&K Bank towards the achievements in the DCP financial year 2015-16 is 78.07%. The bank has disbursed Rs. 356.35 Crore out of the total disbursement of Rs. 458.83 Crore by all the banks operating in the district by the end of financial year 2015-16.DDC on the occasion exhorted upon the bankers to speed up their activities and work with zeal and dedication so that downtrodden and common people be benefited.ACR, LDO, RBI, DDM, NABARD, and all line departments and representatives of Banks were also present.
