Rs 1 cr released from college development fund for infrastructure upgradation

Minister for Education, Mr Naeem Akhtar has called for immediate restoration and upgradation of infrastructure at Degree College Bemina which suffered massive damages in the devastating floods of September 2014.The Minister visited the College yesterday to take stock of the restoration works there.He issued on-the-spot authorization for utilization of Rs 1 crore out of the College Development Fund for restoration and upgradation of infrastructure at the College.The Minister also called for establishing a Reading Room and Sports Facility in the College, which could be also used by the local youth.
