16th May’s Protest march would be historic : Gurpreet Singh Ghuggi

State communication coordinator of Aam Aadmi Party S. Gurpreet Singh Ghuggi squarely blamed SAD-BJP Government Mr Badal for completely ruining the farm sector in Punjab through their Anti-Farmer policies and rampant corruption in the state and the debt-ridden farmers were being compelled to commit suicides in large numbers.Addressing a huge meeting of AAP volunteers organized as a part of preparation meeting for making 16 May Protest March to Ghirao CM Badal’s Chandigarh residence. Mr Ghuggi said that as a result of 12000 crore Food Scam committed by Badals, the farmer had been making frequent rounds for the payments of their sold crops in Mandies. He said that the Punjab farmers who had been providing food for the whole country were living in miserable conditions in Punjab and the Badal government had no time to redress their genuine problems. 

He claimed that the 16th May’s Protest march would be historic one and would prove to be an eye opener to the anti-farmer Badal government. Mr Ghuggi lamenting the Union Government for ignoring the martyrs, Freedom Fighters and other Great Social personalities in the syllabus books at all levels and even Delhi University had been teaching the history books containing objectionable remarks i.e. terrorist for great martyr Shaheed Bhagat Singh. He said that the Punjab Chief Minister had never bothered to get this big blunder corrected from the Union Government. On this occasion a renowned Punjabi singer and writer Hakam Bakhtrhi Wala joined Aam Aadmi Party. Mr Ghuggi welcomed his entry in AAP and assured due respect. Ludhiana zone coordinator Col. CM Lakhanpal, zone observer Aambrish Trikha and Kisaan and Labour Wing Punjab general Secretary Ahbaab Singh Grewal exhorted the volunteers to make all out efforts to 16 May Protest march a historic success. Prominent among others who addressed the meeting included Kanwaljit Singh Dua, Amreek Singh Batra, Suresh Goyal, Sultan Singh, Col. Darshan Dhillon, Mohan Virk, Mrs Sekho, Miss Shabanam & Dr HS Pannu.
