Paying glowing tributes to the three youth, Ishfaq Ahmad Dar of Dogripora, Ishfaq Ahmad Baba of Tahab and Haseeb Ahmad Pala of Batadna who were martyred in a gunfight with government forces at Panzgam, Pulwama, Hurriyat (M) spokesman Saturday said the sacrifices of life and property of the people of Kashmir were not only the biggest asset of the ongoing resistance movement but it was only due to these sacrifices that Kashmir issue and a need for its resolution had attracted international attention.Stressing that the end of uncertainty and distress among the people of this region was impossible until Kashmir issue was not resolved, the spokesman in a statement issued to KNS said an unresolved Kashmir had brought South Asia’s two nuclear neighbors at a confrontation mode for the past seven decades and the issue had also led to uncertainty among the 1.25 crore people of Jammu Kashmir.Terming the resolution of Kashmir issue essential for long-lasting peace and stability of entire South Asia, the spokesman said the Indian leadership should understand this reality without further delay thus paving way for the peace, stability and prosperity of the entire region.Making it clear that using oppression and unleashing brute force as a tactic to subdue and crush the will of the people would not work because the people have a deep resolve and commitment to carry forward their resistance movement.
