Jahangir Mir provides water cooler, desks to school

Deputy Chairman Legislative Council Jahangir Hussain Mir today inaugurated a electric water cooler at Government Middle School Boys city.The water cooler and desks worth Rs. 1.5 lacs were provided to the school out of his CD fund.Besides prominent citizens, parents and staff the education officers were also present at the occasion.In his address Deputy Chairman said that the students are the future of the nation and it is the responsibility of the teachers to impart good education to the students. He said that though the modern infrastructure, equipments and new educational techniques are the need of the hour yet the basic requirement is work culture and responsibility towards the betterment of educational system.He assured the staff and students of further help for improving the facilities in the school.

Prominent persons present at the occasion includes renowned educationist K K Kapoor, V M Misri Retd. Principal, Retd. Dy. Director Health Dr. Subhash Raina, Principal GHHS Poonch, Principal HSS Sawjian, ZEO Poonch, Warden G&B Hostel Poonch, ZEPO, Vipan Kandhari, Irshaad Sofi, Ramesh Chander, Arun Kandhari, Tariq Khan, Sarpanch Manzoor Hussain and Iqbal Jatt.
