First Ever Advanced Meditation Course Concludes In Sub Jail, Hiranagar

For the holistic development of inmates of Sub Jail, Hiranagar,the Art of Living [AOL] conducted a 4-day Advanced Meditation Course . The AOL, founded by His Holiness  Sri Ravishankar ji, is the world’s largest volunteer based organisation.The course teacher  Sarita Jain, who has taken many such programmes all over India said,” This course takes you deeper into yourself, where you experience the vastness of consciousness by being relaxed and rejuvenated, both physically and mentally.”The course was organised by Arunima Sinha, STC YLTP, AOL J&K. Suresh Khajuria,  Anuja Jasrotia,  Shantmanu  CEO J&K .  Arunima Sinha assisted the course. She expressed her heartfelt thanks to SP Vaid, DG Prisons, J&K, for his support.The inmates shared that the course helped them cope with their present reality of confinement and had a profound calming effect on them. They all felt a greater sense of belongingness with each other. The Jail Superintendent, Lazar Kandayare said that  AOL programmes have been regularly conducted in  jail .
