Secretary Tourism, Farooq Ahmad Shah today took a detailed review of Tourism Development Authorities in a meeting, he chaired here.Dr. Bharat Bhushan CEO Lakhanpur Sarthal Development Authority, Rakesh Sarangal, CEO PDA, Dr. Vikas Gupta, CEO SMDA, Balkrishan, CEO BDA, Pawan Parihar, CEO KDA, Ms. Narmita Dogra,  Joint Director Tourism Jammu, Ms. Omera Sharaft Joint Director Planning, Ms. Anju Gupta GM JKTDC, Er. S.K. Attri, Dy. Director Publicity Jammu, Mr. Poswal FA Tourism, K.K Sharma Dy. Director Planning Jammu, Dr. Umesh Shan Assistant Director were present in the meeting.Farooq Ahmad Shah while addressing the meeting, enjoined upon the CEO's of Tourism Developmental Authorities and other officers of Tourism Department to work with dedication, sincerity and zeal to give impetus to tourism infrastructure and service for strengthening and improving different tourist resorts.

He stressed for completion of  works /activities which were taken up on the directions of former CM late Mufti Mohammad Sayeed. CEOs and other sectoral officers were directed to submit the “100 days”work along with the annual action plan for the current financial year with special focus on creating eco friendly assets, sanitation & liquid and solid waste management.Mr. Shah directed CEOs to implement the Tourist Trade Act in letter and spirit in their respective resorts and keeping strict vigil on tourism related entities/ units and ensure that violators of the Act are dealt strictly so that visiting tourists have a comfortable and memorable stay in Jammu and Kashmir.Mr. Shah enjoined upon the officers to work in a most transparent manner and ensure punctuality in their respective offices to provide better services to the people. He assured all help to mitigate the problems being faced by the officers.
