DDC for improving service delivery mechanism

District Development Commissioner Anantnag Syed Abid Rasheed Shah has impressed upon the officers to improve the public delivery system in the district by encouraging participative governance and involving common people in the implementation and formation of developmental plans and policies for the district.The DDC was speaking at meeting with all sectoral officers here today.He said that the field functionaries have a vital role to play in the time bound disposal of matters and ensuring that the goals envisaged in welfare programmes reach the target populance .Calling for a collaborative effort to redress the genuine demands of the people the DDC asked the District officers to put in their best efforts to redress the public issues.The DDC asked Tehslidar Anantnag to collaborate with Traffic and Police Departments and conduct massive decongestion and anti encroachment drives in every identified spot where traffic gridlocks occur.The meeting was attended by ADDC Anantnag, Mr. Muhammad Younis Malik, ADC Mr Sheikh Ghulam Hassan, ACR, ACD, CEO, CPO, ARTO, DSWO, besides other district officers.
