Handwara 14-Apr-2016

Despite strict restrictions and curfew in Handwara and Langate town, two separate condolence meetings were held at the residence of Raja Begum at Langate and Nayeem Qadir Bhat at Handwara today and both the condolence meetings were attended by large number of people hailing from all walks of life.According to a statement issued to KNS, AIP Supremo and MLA Langate Er Rasheed attended both the gatherings and addressed the mourners. Speaking on the occasion Er Rashid said “World community should realise that the Jammu Kashmir is not a law and order problem but a political issue which is claiming precious lives at every nook and corner of Jammu & Kashmir.

Let the leaders of all streams realise that common Kashmiris forget their differences and get united against all sorts of atrocities and speak in one voice for the resolution of Kashmir issue but their sacrifices goes waste as leaders start blaming each other, doubting everybody and creating confusions thus helping Indian State to get bailed out every time. Leaders need to rise to the occasion and say good bye to their personal interests and egos and form a Common Minimum Programme so that the movement moves forward in a positive directions”.Er Rashid appeals Jammu & Kashmir Police to introspect and get lessons from the Handwara incident and realize that killing people by bullets is not solution to their anger and at end of the day every Jawanof J&K Police has to come back to his society and has to be accountable for all his good or bad deeds.
