Bodies of Raja Begum, Mohammad Iqbal and Nayeem Qadir Bhat were laid to rest amid emotional seens and anti-India slogans in Handwara, Langate and Kupwara after an agreement was reached between the protesters and state administration.After three hour long deliberations between the representatives of protesters led by Er Rasheed MLA Langate government agreed to six demands of the people of area.Giving details of the agreement to the media persons in Handwara Chowk Er Rasheed said. “As a part of the agreement government agreed to remove the main Bunker from Handwara Chowk with a period of one month, not to name anyone from the civilians in FIR related to the incident and complete a magisterial probe within period of one month.As the part of the agreement the accused ASI Mohammad Rafiq who had allegedly involved in the firing incident, has been placed under immediate suspension.Besides government will provide maximum possible ex-gratia and other benefits to the bereaved families. Further as the part of the agreement all the persons detained since yesterday during incident and after protests were released unconditionally by the administration. Later on Er Rasheed attended funeral prayers of Raja Begum and Nayeem Qadir Bhat at Langate and Handwara respectively. (KNS)
