In order to curb corruption in Punjab, the Vigilance Bureau is being making concrete efforts.Disclosing this a spokesman of Vigilance Bureau said that during March 2016 , 6 cases were registered against corrupt officers who were caught red handed while accepting bribe. Apart from this, during this  month, the bureau registered 4 criminal and 2 disproportionate assets cases while the number of vigilance inquiries stands at 4.Spokesman further said that different courts has convicted accused in 4 cases and  7 challan presented before the courts by Vigilance Bureau.
