Speaking in Annual Day Function of Dr. Ambedkar Institute of Hotel Management, the Punjab Governor and Administrator UT Chandigarh Prof. Kaptan Singh Solanki described this Institute as the feeder institution of Hotel Industry.The Governor said that the Indian tourism and hospitality industry has emerged as one of the key drivers of growth among the services sector in India; therefore your responsibility and role as a stakeholder for this profession solicit transformation and adaptation all the time, be it in the form of knowledge, technology or procedures ,he added.Appreciating the achievements of the Institute, Prof. Solanki said the Hotel Management Institute is providing 100 % placement to the students over the years in reputed organizations which indeed was an outstanding achievement. 

Congratulating all those who have been associated with the Institution for working with commitment and imparting relevant education of a high standard to its students who belongs to various sections of society, Prof. Solanki, said that the AmbedkarInstitute of Hotel Management, is playing a significant, role in developing, shaping and nurturing students community and helping to create a network where innovative ideas and practices can be developed, distributed, shared and implemented.
