The Union Minister for Food Processing Mrs Harsimrat Kaur Badal today said that no one can stop the security of PPP leader Manpreet Badal, whose party has been absorbed into Congress, from being forefeited during elections.Harsimrat Badal reached Sivia to distribute grants for developmental works after conducting sangat darshan at village Kothe Chet Singh Wala. She said that if Manpreet Badal wished to contest elections against the Chief Minister Mr Parkash Singh Badal, the former should be prepared to lose even his security deposit.Answering a media query, Mrs Badal said that earlier too the representative of four political parties Manpreet Singh Badal has been rejected in the Lok Sabha polls and now if he was keen to contest elections against the senior most politician of India Chief Minister Punjab Mr Parkash Singh Badal, Manpreet should be ready for the worst defeat of all times. Responding to another question from media Mrs Harsimrat Badal said that the Congress has already slipped into oblivion in the entire country and will soon meet the same fate in Punjab. She said that the Punjab Congress and Manpreet Badal were living in their own land of dreams whereas the fact is that Congress will be completely wiped off the state in forthcoming assembly elections.
Mrs Badal said that the SAD-BJP government has attained new heights of development in last 9 years whereas despite its rule spanning over past many decades in state and center, the Congress has done nothing. She appealed people to ask for list of achievements of Congress whenever its leaders or workers came to their doorsteps seeking votes. She said that the Congress did not have even a single achievement to show people.Giving answer to the question pertaining to Municipal Corporation Delhi damaging the raised platform meant for serving chhabeel at Gurudwara Sisganj, she said that first Congress and now AAP's anti-Sikh face stood exposed. She said that the Congress party had always advocated anti-Sikh emotions and now Aam Aadmi Party was following the same thing.On being asked about the allegations of Congress and AAP terming SAD-BJP government as anti-Sikh, the Union Minister said that instead the SAD-BJP government was the biggest supporter of farmers.
She said that in a state like Delhi, the CM Arvind Kejriwal was claiming moon by giving compensation to mere 200 farmers, whereas the Punjab CM Mr Parkash Singh Badal has paid power bills of Rs 6000 cr of the farmers in last 9 years. She said that people should be wary of the wrong propaganda Congress and AAP were playing so that the parties against Punjab and Punjabiat could be given befitting reply.Earlier, she listened and solved people's problems of village Kothe Chet Singh, Kothe Lal Singh, Balahar Mehma, Sivia, Jandawala, Harraipur, Balahar Vinju, Goniana Khurd and Goniana Kalan. She also distributed grants for various developmental works.The Bathinda (rural) MLA Mr Darshan Singh Kotfatta, Deputy Commissioner Dr Basant Garg, SSP Bathinda Mr Swapan Sharma, Dr Om Prakash Sharma and others were also present.
