Revenue and Public Relations Minister Punjab, Bikram Singh Majithia has strongly condemned ArvindKejriwal led Delhi government’s planned act to pull down the Piau(drinking water shed) adjoining GurudwaraSisganj Sahib, Delhi and said that he should apologize to the Sikh community for forcefully demolishing the piau which served as a drinking water area for thousands of people coming to the Gurudwara.Mr. Majithia was addressing a gathering after distributing grant Rs. 1.25 crore for the development works to be initiated in village Chogwan. He said that it is a matter of regret that AAP was emulating anti sikh precedent set by Congress. He said that the Congress Prime Minister Mrs Indira Gandhi was never forgiven by the  sikh community  for causing damage to the holy Akal Thakt and the fate of her party in Punjab is pathetic.

He said that Kejriwal’s anti Sikh and anti Punjabis bent of mind is evident from the fact that Delhi government has no Sikh representative in its cabinet. He said that goaded by political motives Kejriwal is repeatedly cheating Punjabis on the issue of river waters. While in Punjab he backed SYL and on returning back to Delhi, moving ahead on the anti Punjab agenda he started opposing the state. He said people are well aware of the political connotations of the   demolition act initiated at a holy place associated with the martyrdom of Sri Guru TegBahadur and the act self proclaims that  Kejriwal has become a threat to the unity and communal harmony. He said that by adopting an irresponsible stance on such a sensitive issue, Kejriwal has openly exhibited anti-Sikh psyche.Earlier, Mr. Majithia gave village Tahli Sahib Rs. 56 lac, Chativind Lehar Rs. 55 lac, Khidovali Rs.45 lac, MukadapuraRs 10 lac and TarfalRs 12 lac for the initiating dozens of development projects.
