Kavinder Gupta reviews arrangements for Navratra Festival

Speaker, Jammu and Kashmir Legislative Assembly, Mr. Kavinder Gupta today reviewed the arrangements for smooth celebration of Navratra Festival commencing from tomorrow.The Speaker accompanied by senior officers of various departments visited Bahu Fort (Bawa Mandir) to have first hand appraisal of the arrangements put in place by the concerned departments.The Speaker directed for providing uninterrupted power and water supply in the area besides maintaining proper sanitation . 

He also asked the concerned authorities to provide proper medical, transport facilities and ensuring adequate security arrangements. He asked the power department to repair high mast and other lights in the area for convenience of the devotees.Earlier, the Speaker paid obeisance at the temple and prayed for the peace and prosperity of the State.SDM, South Jammu, Shahid Mehmood, AEE, PHE, Gandhi Nagar, Manmohan Singh, AEE, Mechanical Wing, Sunil Gandotra, AEE, R&B, Rafiq Sheikh, SP South, Sajid Salaria, SDPO, East, Chandan Kohli, Health Officer, Mohammad Sadiq Khan, senior officers of JMC and other concerned department  also accompanied the Speaker.
