Punjab To Recruit 176 RMOs And 183 RVOs

Punjab Government has decided to recruit 176 Rural Medical Officers (RMO) and 183 Rural Veterinary Officers (RVO) in step to strengthen rural health services and promotion of animal husbandry.Disclosing this here today Surjit Singh Rakhra, Rural Development and Panchayat Minister, said that Punjab Government is committed to provide best health facilities to villagers, so that department has started the process to recruit new 176 RMOs. Rakhra said that Punjab has recently bagged number one position in milk production across the country and to strengthen the milk production, Punjab Government has also sanctioned the 183 posts of Rural Veterinary Officers. The Minister further said that the process would be completed till December 15, 2012.
