Punjab SC Commission Issues Instructions To Observe 125th Birth Anniversary Of Dr. Bhim Rao Ambedkar On Grand Scale

The Punjab State Scheduled Castes Commission has instructed the Punjab Government to observe 125th birth anniversary of Baba Sahib Dr. Bhim Rao Ambedkar on a grand scale. Disclosing this, Punjab State Scheduled Castes Commission Chairman, Mr. Rajesh Bagha said that the commission in a meeting held today has decided that seminars, special lectures and conferences be organised in all the schools, colleges and universities of the state to commemorate the 125th birth anniversary of Baba Sahib Dr. Bhim Rao Ambedkar highlighting his contribution to the country and has given written instructions concerning the same.He also said that Baba Sahib also contributed wholeheartedly towards upliftment of women, youth, and strengthening roots of parliamentary democracy, economic development, stressed upon role of media which acted as guiding light for people and also played a yeoman’s role in the educational field besides being the architect of the constitution of India. On the occasion, Mr. Raj Bahadur Singh, Deputy Director, Mr. Prabh Dayal, Mr. Tarsem Singh Sialka, Mr. Raj Kumar Hans and Mr. Rajinder Singh Guddu (All Members) were also present.
