Standing firmly for the rights of people of Punjab on Satluj-Yamuna Link issue, the Chief Minister Punjab Mr Parkash Singh Badal has once again proven that SAD-BJP government cares for the people of state. The Union Minister for Food Processing Mrs Harsimrat Kaur Badal said this while answering a media query here today. Mrs Badal inaugurated the newly constructed cattle pounds at village Harraipur and Goniana as well as laid foundation stone of the new ice cream plant at Verka Milk Plant. Besides this, she also conducted sangat darshan in villages of Bhokhra, Nehianwali, Amargarh and Jeeda wherein she distributed funds to various village panchayats.Mrs Badal said the center’s Congress government raked up the issue of SYL dividing the waters of Punjab whereas earlier too Punjab has been subjected to partisan behavior over issues of Chandigarh and Punjabi speaking districts. She added that giving pro-people and historical decision over the SYL, the Chief Minister Mr Parkash Singh Badal has vindicated his 30 years old stance on issue and returned farmers their lands after 30 years as well as saved state’s water.
Answering another query she said that Captain Amarinder Singh is synonym to corruption. In the year 2011, his own center government got action taken against him from Enforcement Directorate and now the Congress leaders and workers in state have turned against him. She added that like other states Congress will be wiped off from Punjab state too. She said that by not contesting the Khadoor Sahib elections, Congress has proven that it has lost its roots in state.She added that like People's Party of Punjab (PPP), the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) too is B team of Congress who is trying to misguide people. She said that during Delhi elections, Arvind Kejriwal had sworn in name of his children saying that he will not form any alliance, but he went on to form government with Congress as alliance partner. She said that when elections were re-conducted in Delhi, the Congress transferred all its votes to AAP, which left Congress sans any MLA. She said that now in Punjab too the AAP has entered as B team of Congress to harm SAD-BJP government.
Mrs Badal laid foundation stone of ultra modern dairy and ice cream plant at Verka Milk Plant Bathinda. Similarly, she inaugurated two projects at and R plant at village Gillpatti. She also inaugurated newly constructed park at village Bhokhra and laid foundation stone of CC flooring project. At village Bhokhra she conducted sangat darshan of villages Kothe Inder Singh Wala and Kothe Natha Singh Wala. At village Nehianwali she conducted sangat darshan of villages Khialiwali and Mehma Sawai.The MLA Mr Darshan Singh Kotfatta, Deputy Commissioner Bathinda Dr Basant Garg, OSD to deputy CM Mr Mohnish Kumar and Mr Harinder Singh Sra, Mayor Mr Balwant Rai Nath, SDM Bathinda Mr Anmol Singh Dhaliwal, DDPO Mr Arun Jindal, SP (H) Dr Nanak Singh, SP (city) Mr Desraj, district press secy Dr Om Prakash Sharma and others were present.At the foundation stone laying ceremony at Verka Milk Plant, the Milkfed chairman Mr Amarjit Singh Sidhu, CPS Mr Sarup Chand Singla, youth Akali Dal president Mr Sukhman Singh Sidhu, Mr HS Jatana sub-registrar cooperative societies Bathinda, Mr HS Grewal general manager Milkfed, general manager Verka Plant Bathinda Mr Rupinder Sekhon and others were present.
