Aadhaar based BAS Launched at DC Office Samba

District Development Commissioner Sheetal Nanda today inaugurated Aadhaar based Biometric Attendance System in the DC Office complex.National Informatics Centre, Samba is the implementing agency and software using BAS has been developed by NIC. DDC directed the employees to maintain punctuality in the office and also directed the employees to ensure their enrolments under AadhaarThe portal of district administration is designed with jkdasmb.attendance.gov.in and Additional Deputy Commissioner, Pawan Sharma has been designated as nodal officer for monitoring the attendance of DC office complex and other offices which are registered with the domain name. District Informatics Officer, Varinder Singh Pathania apprised about the software and live demo of various reports and monitoring tools available on the portal was also given. ADIO Sourav Bhandari and NIC consultants’ Satish Kumar and Vejinder Singh were also present on the occasion.
