Free Medical Camp for hearing impaired held

The District Development Commissioner Budgam Mr. Mir Altaf Ahmad  accompanied by Dr Mohammad Maqbool, prominent ENT Specialist today inaugurated daylong free medical camp for hearing and speech impaired people.The camp was  organized by voluntary medical society in collaboration with State Bank of India at Sheikh-ul-Alam Hall Budgam. People suffering from this disability attended the camp to get treatment/consultations and hearing aid machines.Speaking on the occasion DDC hailed the efforts of organizers and said that  these medical camps provide succor to the people .He said as per  data available District Budgam has large number  of such sufferers who require  timely intervention from  the authorities as well as other volunteers.On the occasion about 100 people suffering from hearing disability were provide free hearing aid machines
