DDC Baramulla visited various areas of the district

District Development Commissioner, Baramulla Yasha Mudgal today visited various areas of the District including Sopore, Delina and Jahama and took stock of the drainage and sanitation system.The DDC was accompanied by Additional Deputy Commissioner, Bashir Ahmad Khan, Assistant Commissioner Revenue, Ghulam Ahmad, SDM Sopore, Bashir Ahmad and Officers of Municipality.The DDC inspected various spots to finalize sites for garbage dumping.  Various parameters were taken into account, while identifying the dumping sites.Meanwhile, the DDC directed the concerned officers to ensure strict ban on the use of polythene in the district. It was impressed upon them to take strict action against shopkeepers that indulge in the sale of polythene.Earlier, the DDC took stock of the availability of basic facilities in the areas. The DDC interacted with   various delegations of public and listened to their demands and issues. The DDC assured them of timely and effective action in response to the demands raised.
