DDC Ganderbal reviews achievements under District Plan

District Developmental Commissioner, Ganderbal, Showkat Aijaz Bhat today reviewed physical and financial achievements under District Annual Plan 2015-16.In the meeting implementation, financial and physical achievements under various schemes of Education, Horticulture, Agriculture, Floriculture, Rural Development, Handicraft and Handloom, Health, PHE and R&B were reviewed .It was given out in the meeting that out of Rs. 47.74 crore released under District plan Rs 34.75 crore have been spent in different sectors by February end.The DDC while reviewing the progress enjoined upon the concerned officers to make sure that tangible and durable assets especially with regard to rural connectivity should be created. The officers were directed to make sure that the funds with the departments are utilized judiciously. The DDC exhorted upon the officers to ensure regular monitoring of the ongoing development works of their respective departments and asked the officers of executing agency of different works to put in their dedicated efforts in accelerating the pace of works so that desired targets could be achieved well in time.Among others CPO Ganderbal and all concerned district officers were present in the meeting.
