Appeals Governor to give priority to degree holders

The Jammu and Kashmir Forest Graduates Association Monday staged protest at Srinagar’s press enclave against the administration for allegedly failing to give priority to the degree holder aspirants.The protesters assembled at press enclave and were chanting slogans like ‘we want justice’. The protesters were demanding to give priority to the degree holder students.While talking to KNS, Aijaz Ahmad, a protest alleged that despite being degree holders, the authorities are ignoring them and are appointing others having low qualification than them.“We appeal Governor N N Vohra to intervene into the matter personally and redress our problems soon,” protesters said.While publicizing their demands, the forest graduate candidates said that the authorities should fill the vacant posts in forest and allied department on priority basis and should introduce forest as an optional subject.However, the protesters later dispersed peacefully.
