Mian Altaf seeks immediate relief, rehabilitation of Kangan landslide victims

Senior National Conference ( NC) leader and MLA Kangan, Mian Altaf Ahmed has expressed sorrow over the damage to several residential houses due to landslide in Wangath area of Kangan on Saturday.In a statement to KNS, Mian Altaf Ahmed said that more than a dozen families have become homeless after their houses were completely and partially damaged due to landslide in Waniarm area of Wangath Kangan. Mian Altaf said that he has taken up the matter with the Deputy Commissioner Ganderbal also and asked him to shift people to safer areas where there are apprehensions of landslides.Mian Altaf urged district and Divisional administration to provide immediate relief to the victims and rehabilitate them so that these families will not face any hardships.
