Former Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Omar Abdullah has asked if the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) would ask Mehbooba Mufti to chant ‘Bharat Mata ki Jai’ as a condition for government formation in the state.“Is Mehbooba Mufti also going to be asked to chant #BharatMataKiJai as a condition for Govt formation in J&K?” Omar asked in a tweet.Omar’s comment comes in the wake of a barrage of reactions over the statement of AIMM leader Asadudin Owaisi’s refusal to chant ‘Bharat Mata ki jai’ and subsequent suspension of a legislator by Maharashtra Assembly.
