DDC reviews progress under District Plan

In order to review the implementation of schemes under district plan and to finalize the excess surrender statements, the District Development Commissioner Shabir Ahmed Bhat convened a meeting here today.It was given out in the meeting that the district has registered 80.11percent expenditure upto the month of February against a plan outlay of Rs 20092.72 lacs.While reviewing the performance of Rural Development Department, it was informed that an amount of Rs 5679.68 lacs has been spent against the revised outlay of Rs 6391.33 lacs.In addition to this, an expenditure to the tune of Rs 145.50 (lacs) has been made by Health department, Rs 11.84 lacs by Animal Husbandry, Rs 20.50 lacs by Forestry (territorial), Rs 1236.65 lacs by R&B, Rs 257.29 lacs by PHE and Rs 128.50 lacs have been expended by ICDS up to the month of February while PDD department has registered  an expenditure  of 97.68 percent.Expressing dismay over the slow pace of work being executed under convergence plan for education department by RDD, DDC asked the concerned BDO's to expedite the work place so that set targets could be achieved in time.ADC Avtar Singh Chib and concerned officers were present in the meeting.
