Samoon today lauded efforts of J&K Academy of Art, Culture and Languages for promoting linguistic plurality of the State.“The Academy as a premier cultural institution has been doing a fine job and we intend to see it broadbase its activities so as to cater to the aesthetic sensibilities of every segment of the society,” Dr. Samoon said.He was addressing poetry lovers at Government Degree College Hajin Saturday where a district level mushaira was arranged by J&K Academy of Art, Culture and Languages as part of its outreach events.Responding to the observations of the speakers, Secretary Academy, Dr Aziz Hajini said that the Academy had been giving due space to every segment of the society and literary events like today’s were part of such endeavours.
