Divisional Commissioner Jammu, Dr. Pawan Kotwal today inaugurated the wall painting made by eminent artist of Jammu Mr. K K Gandhi near MLA Hostel here today.Commissioner, Municipal Corporation Jammu, Mandeep Kour was also present on the occasion.It was informed on the occasion that the Municipal Corporation has taken up the initiative to beautify the city of temples and give it an aesthetic look by way of wall paintings on all prominent walls depicting Jammu’s art and culture.JMC has appealed the general public to join hands with the Corporation in the initiative taken to beautify the city and restrain people from defacing the walls.Among others, Secretary, Culture Hemant Sharma, Director Handicrafts, Joint Commissioner JMC, Secretary JMC Assistant Commissioner JMC, Health Officer, MVO JMC, XENs JMC, Artist K.K. Gandhi staff of JMC and prominent citizens were present on the occasion.
