‘Sacrifices of Kashmiri people precious’

Terming the sacrifices of the people of Kashmir as precious and sacred, All Parties Hurriyat Conference Saturday said the just solution of Kashmir issue was the basic need for ensuring peace in the entire South Asia.Paying rich tributes to the three youth martyred in a gunfight at Dadsara Tral, recently Hurriyat leaders including Muhammad Musadiq Adil, Mukhtar Ahmad Waza, Ghulam Nabi Zaki, Abdul Majid Wani, Jaffar Kashmir, Engineer Fayaz visited Karibal, Dadsara and Awantipora areas and expressed solidarity with the families of the martyrs.On the occasion, APHC Chairman Mirwaiz Dr. Moulvi Muhammad Umar Farooq talked to the families of the martyrs over phone and expressed solidarity with the families.Terming the sacrifices of martyrs as precious asset for the people of Kashmir, the APHC Chairman said the resistance struggle would continue until the mission of martyrs is achieved.Addressing the condolence meet, Hurriyat leaders stressed that Kashmir issue could not be put in cold storage for long and said that keeping the issue unresolved was dangerous for the peace of South Asia.

The Hurriyat leaders said India's oppression, violence and suppressive tactics would only complicate the issue instead of solving it.Meanwhile, an APHC spokesperson expressed condolence over the demise of a senior Hurriyat activist Ghulam Rasool Khan alias Lassa Khan of Sone Brari, Kulgam and expressed solidarity with the bereaved family.Recalling the contribution of the deceased Hurriyat activist, the spokesman said he had rendered a lot of sacrifices for Kashmir struggle by sacrificing every luxury of life for the future of Kashmir. His sons had been martyred and his life partner too had stood by his side in the most difficult times.Praying to the Almighty Allah for granting Jannat-ul-Firdous to Khan, the APHC spokesman also prayed for granting patience and forbearance to his bereaved family.
